June Favorites

Hiiii!! So I’m sad to see the month of June go by so quickly, considering it’s one of my favorite months of the year. At the end of each month, I like to do a small reflection on how I felt throughout the month and take note of what the positives and negatives were. How did your June go for you?

I also want to share my June favorites ! These include beauty products to a workout guide to a book I’m currently reading. Continue scrolling if you’d like to learn what my June favorites are.

Juice Beauty moisturizer.

-Juice Beauty Moisturizer-

This is the best moisturizer I’m using at the moment. You know I’m loving this stuff if you follow along on Insta. I love to use for my PM skincare routine. It does a fantastic job at moisturizing my skin but not leaving my pores clogged or feeling like it’s too heavy.

Laneige lip sleeping mask.

-Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask-

A lip sleeping mask is what everyone is missing in their life if they aren’t already using one. Like I’m serious, if you have chapped or dry lips, use this to combat any dryness. It looks like you’re wearing just the perfect about of gloss and it makes your lips look plump. This can also be carried around in your bag and be used as your every day lip balm.

-Tammy Hembrow Work out Guide-

I’m no expert when it comes to working out. I know what works for me and what doesn’t, and sometimes what was working for me at one point, no longer works for me at another point. I’m always trying to learn what will lead me to the best results and what is best for me for the long term. People have a variety of opinions when it comes to working out. Do what works for you and try not to get caught up in the fads is my opinion. For me, at the moment, the Tammy Hembrow work out app I downloaded has been working well so far. She offers multiple work out guides, recipes, and a diary to track everything. I also felt confident in buying her guide because she’s a walking statement of how well her guides work. I have taken progress pics so maybe if I’m feeling up to it and feeling confident enough, I can do a post on how the guide has been going. Let me know if that’s something you would like to see.

Fallen, the book.

-Fallen-

Fallen is my current read! I try to read every night before bed, even if it’s only 5 pages. Putting my phone away an hour before I fall asleep is important to me. I think it helps me fall asleep faster and stay asleep. Fallen is a mystical type book that’s kind of a love story. It’s intriguing and has held my attention so I’m eager to finish it.

-Jogging in The Mornings-

Waking up early is a constant struggle of mine but it’s something I’m really trying to work at. Some weeks I’m just on it and can get up at 6am without any problems. Other weeks, it just doesn’t happen. It’s not a consistent thing for me but at least I’m trying. I like to wake up early because it gives me the chance to get the things done that I want to get done in the morning before going to work. It also means I can take my time and not have to feel rushed. If I get up early enough, I’ll go for a 20 minute jog outside and it’s the most calming and peaceful thing I can do in the morning. The weather is always perfect at that time, it’s light outside but the sun it’s shining too bright, there’s rarely anyone on the path that I jog on, and it sets the tone for the entire day, in a good way.

Hoping you all have a good week celebrating July 4th & thanks for reading about my June favorites!

You can view my most recent post here, where I also discuss my love for the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, lol!
