Providing Tips to Help You Take Care of Your Lips

I feel like everyone talks about them, most people love them, but we forget to take care of them. & I get it, because there’s so many other things we have to remember to take care of like our skin, our teeth, our house, our relationships, etc. So what am I talking about? LIPS. Let me clarify- the lips on your face.

Lips are attractive and end up being the second or third thing I look at when I look at a face. The first thing are teeth, my eyes always dart to people’s teeth. Then it’s their eyes and then lips. I don’t know, just the way I’m wired I guess.

But anyways, I feel like most of us like lips because what’s not to like about them, right? It’s easy to forget about them because you’re trying to take care of your skin or your teeth so your lips kind of get forgotten. They are important though, just as important as your skin and teeth. Love them, embrace them, and take care of them.

The first thing:

Always remember to wear SPF lip balm. SPF everywhere is always needed, but especially on your lips because they are delicate so give them a little extra love. No one wants to deal with developing skin cancer on or around your lips.

Whish lip scrub.

The second thing:

Find a good scrub for your lips. Maybe it’s a scrub you use every other day or once a week. I have this scrub from Whish. It’s a gentle exfoliator but leaves my lips feeling fresh, rather than feeling too exfoliated. It also smells so good and tastes like I should eat it, lol. I also use this exfoliator from Barry M. Cosmetics. This is a harsher exfoliator so I only use this once a week or so, or if I feel like my lips are really chapped and need some extra love.

Peppermint lip scrub.

The third thing:

Use a lip mask. I got this lip mask from my Fabfitfun box and love them, but they’re by KNC Beauty. They’re infused with collagen and make my lips feel so plump. This is like using a mask on your face. Use these lip masks like once or twice a week to get the best results.

The final thing:

Use a bomb ass lip balm. I use this kind from Laneige . It’s technically a lip sleeping mask, but I use it as my daily lip balm. Makes the lips look plumper than they are, looks like you have shiny gloss on but doesn’t feel like that gross, thick gloss you wore in elementary school. & the lip mask is moisturizing as fuck. You actually can’t go wrong with this. Sephora is where you can find this “lip balm.”
