Hi, Sunday!! How’s everyone’s isolation going? I’m keeping myself busy by following a routine, trying to create content, continuing to read/listen to podcasts, and making sure I get a daily workout in. I’m also giving myself time to watch some classic throwback movies!
+ Bring It On – The first one is the best one, in my opinion. I think I can recite the entire movie, haha!
+ She’s The Man – Absolutely hilarious and Channing Tatum is so dreamy in this one. I watched this throwback movie the other day.
+ Step Up – Speaking of Channing Tatum! The first Step Up is so good & Jenna Dewan is beautiful! I’m currently reading her book- it’s inspiring.
+ Save The Last Dance – I can’t even explain the love I have for this movie, it’s in my top 5 favorite movies. & I will happily admit that I’ve spent many hours trying to learn Nikki’s dance in the club- if you know, you know.
+ Coyote Ugly – Ahhhh, another favorite!! Let me tell you, that scene on the bar when they’re pouring water all over each other, you know that one? I tried to reenact that in my great grandma’s kitchen with my cousin, hahaha. Wild child.
+ Uptown Girls – I want to watch this tomorrow. Also, RIP to Brittany Murphy- she was a star.
+ Crossroads – I get surprised at how many people haven’t seen this one. & I am telling you, if you haven’t seen it, make time TO see it.
+ 8 Mile – Just because I love Eminem.
+ Honey – I wanted to be Honey so bad after I saw this movie! I’m sure I’m not alone in that.
+ Stomp The Yard – Another great movie where the good guys come out on top.
+ Burlesque – Currently watching this, and I forgot how good it was! Christina Aguilera is a damn queen.
I guess this list portrays that I’ve always been obsessed with dance movies.
& that has concluded some of my favorite throwback movies. I actually really enjoyed compiling this list together, these throwback movies are the best. Let me know what throwback movies you love below!
