Festival season is here! & I’m off to Coachella in less than two days! So I figured what a perfect time to talk about what to pack for a music festival. Also, I feel like I’ve experienced enough music festivals to know what to bring, but I don’t it all so let me know what I’m missing because I LOVE to learn. These lists will be a combination of what to bring to camping festivals and festivals where you stay in a hotel/airbnb.
Δ A LOT of water, healthy food that doesn’t need refrigeration, protein packed snacks to keep you full
Δ Cash
Δ Blankets, warm clothing for the nighttime, rainwear, locks (to lock your tent or suitcases/bags)
Δ Toilet paper, hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes
Δ SPF (SUPER important), sunglasses, hats
Δ Face jewels, face paint
Δ Glitter – I LOVE lots of glitter
Δ Jewelry – BIG or dainty necklaces, bracelets, rings, toe-rings, anklets
Δ Flash tats (temporary tattoos)
Δ Accessories for your hair, hair extensions
Δ Platform shoes (!!!)
Δ Fringe ANYTHING
Δ Some sort of shimmery body oil to make your skin glow
Δ A killer ass outfit (this doesn’t need to be essential for everyone, this is my preference!)
Δ Bandanas
Δ Your everyday makeup & fun/glittery makeup, nail polish (again, not essential for everyone)
Δ Swimsuits (especially swim suit tops because you’re in the sun all day and it’s like 90+)
Δ Flip flops to wear to the port-a-potties (& showers!) because they’re easy to slip on- there’s nothing worse than waking up in the middle of the night because you have to pee but you can’t find your shoes or you can’t put them on. You know what’s worse than that? Deciding to say fuck it and going without shoes. Yes, I’ve been there and it’s as gross as you imagine it to be. LOL
Δ Ear plugs
Δ Face wipes to remove your makeup after coming back from the festival. You’ll either be too tired or too drunk to wash it off so at least wipe it off
Δ Headache medicine, bandaids (incase you get blisters), allergy medicine
Δ Strapless bra- I say this because I’m always forgetting my strapless bra for whatever reason!
Δ Comfy clothes to travel back home in
The most important thing of all – HAVE FUN, LET LOOSE, don’t worry about anyone else, get lost in the music & the vibes, cherish your time spent there, & be safe!

How do you keep your glitter on at festivals?! Do you use hairspray?
For loose glitter, I use glitter glue! But I also found out last weekend while at Coachella, that eyeshadow primer works REALLY well for loose glitter too. HA! As for the stick-on jewels, those will just stay on! If you have a problem keeping those on, I would try glitter glue under the ones that stick on.
